Community Engagement: School Visit
By María Teresa Puac, Communications and Fundraising Coordinator
We had the incredible opportunity to speak with 75 first-year high school students at Padre Aplas Catholic School (named after Father Fransisco) about the life-changing results of our eco-stove initiative.TRL's the Q'aaq' Stoves!
Through this engaging talk, we introduced the students to how energy-efficient stoves are transforming lives here in Santiago Atitlán by reducing firewood consumption, improving health by lowering indoor air pollution, and protecting our beautiful environment.

The students were eager to learn how these stoves align with our shared responsibility to care for the planet and leave a positive mark on our community.

Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards!
