As you can see, each day, open cook fires create a smoky, polluted dome over our community, causing rampant respiratory problems among young and old—this would most likely be an air quality emergency in your town!
Tui’k Ruch’ Lew (TRL) is making progress every day to address this serious problem, but we need your help. You can support TRL’s Biogas Digester Project (to replace open fires with cooking gas) or our Improved Stove Project (to reduce CO2 emissions and firewood consumption), or both.
